Despite only being founded in 2016, the Warwickshire Hotel has fast-made a name for itself and sees large numbers of golfers pass through its doors each year. With two on-site courses, top-class facilities, and a great friendly atmosphere it's easy to see why it has earned such a stellar reputation. The hotel boasts 56 rooms to choose from in a variety of different styles.
Both located within a short stroll of the hotel, The Earls Course and The Kings Course are two superb on-site championship courses. The tricky woodland style Earls Course features very small greens, whereas the parkland style Kings Course requires accurate driving to land on the undulating greens and avoid the strategically placed bunkers.
Opened in September 2016, The Warwickshire Hotel is a spectacular venue for a peaceful and relaxing golf trip. The hotel consists of 56 bedrooms decorated in a modern and contemporary style, located adjacent to the leisure facilities.
At The Warwickshire, you can relax with tranquil views, good food and refreshing drinks. Open to guests, members and families, the food and drink venues are a serene place to be sociable and enjoy the best country club lifestyle. You have the option of the Health Club Bar, Golf Club Bar and the Hotel Breakfast.
The onsite Aura Spa offers an array of treatments, including massages, facials and waxing, carried out by expert therapists in four treatment rooms. Other spa facilities at The Warwickshire include a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, an adult-only sauna, a steam room and a hydrotherapy pool. A separate children's pool is available, so everybody is catered for.
This championship length course uses water features and tree-lined fairways to test golfers of all abilities. Your driver is restricted off the tee, as a number of lay up shots are needed if you want to attack the small greens. Good course management is the key if you want to shoot that low score you desire.
The Earl's Course is noted as the more challenging of the courses at The Warwickshire, with tree-lined holes providing scenic views and needed accuracy in play. By contrast, the Kings Course is noted for its wide fairways similar to the style shown in American golf courses.
Big hits are needed in this wide fairway course, yet try not to be too greedy off the tee, as an accurate drive will allow you to attack the sloping greens. The strategically placed bunkers and pine trees that surround the majority of the greens will swallow up any stray shots so good iron play is essential. It is an exciting American style course that requires you to use your brain more than your brawn, enjoyable for all levels of golfer.
The Trip follows our usual format being Dinner, Bed & Breakfast and two rounds of golf , one on each course.
